Hi,

System : IP Office Server Edition 8.1

Question : The calls leaving our system previously were identified as From : 'Anonymous' (Anonymous@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) but they are now identified as From : 'Anonymous' (Anonymous@Anonymous.invalid).

Something tells me I screwed up somewhere. What would cause that ? Where should I look first ?

Regards,

-homerggg

In the ARS on the teln. part enter;

NS"Anonymous@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx"

Well Bas1234 you did point me in the right direction.

I recently moved the "W" from the system short code (9N -> NW) to the ARS table. My ARS table now show .W"@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" where it was ."@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" before.

I guess that's why even the IP is now anonymous.

Is a call from anonymous@anonymous.invalid acceptable or is it "forbidden" per some protocol guidelines or something ?

Regards,

It is how your provider want's it, so call them.

anonymous@anonymous.invalid
anonymous@x.x.x.x
0123456789@anonymous.invalid
