Calls not ringing at rendom

IPO500 R9.1.5 PRI. Have a hunt group of 14 sets (1416). At random calls will not ring to some extensions. Re-groomed whole configuration, re-formatted SD - nothing helps. While watching trunk activity I can see that certain extensions are not being alerted at times. I am about to get fired from this job. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
do these sets have do not disturb activated? can you call them direct from another extension?
 
And yes - you can call the extension and it will ring. I even assigned it 4 appearance buttons thinking maybe there is not enough paths
 
how is this hunt group built, those extensions not getting alerted, were they on a call? also you could try to remove those extension from the hunt group, merge and then add them back and retest
 
It is Collective with Ring/Ring. The non ringing has been noticed mostly when the person is on another call. The other call will not make either visual or acoustic indication on that phone.
 
make it collective call waiting and the phone will not ring if its on a call
 
Had it that way also, tried to remove the whole group and re-instate as well. Getting nowhere. Ran 3 s/w upgrades-no effect
 
I imagine you don't have the users configured correctly, it can't be collective, it needs to stay as collective call waiting regardless of what else you have wrong. Are you trained on the system or tying to learn it as you go? :)

 
Trained on the job (installed some 40 of tese units by now). This is the only location where I have that many phones ringing simultaneously. Had authorized outfit inspect the configuration - they could not find anything wrong
 
Post the config then, we'll take a gander (obscure/alter anything sensitive like DIDs) make many test calls to the group internally, if it always works don't rule out odd line issues....though that's unlikely. 14 is not a particularly large group, that will not be the issue :)

 
Also monitor is the best tool for tracing this, SSA is of limited help with such things :)

 
Which group is it, is it Bakery 302. This group only has analog line assigned to it. Do you have more than 1 analog line? You have the default of the PRI going to Main for a HG, there is no Main HG.
