Hi All,

First I want to thank everyone for help with many other issues I've come across with my avaya IP Office system. I've learned so much, so thank you everyone.

I've come across another issue where when a user gets a call, and lets it go to voicemail, that call doesn't show in any of the logs on the phone (Missed or incoming), however if the caller hangs up before voicemail kicks in, then it shows up.

The settings for "Default centralized call log on", "Log missed calls answered at Coverage" and "Log missed hunt group calls" are all checked

Using IPO Manager 10.0.0.2.0 Build 10.

Any thoughts?

I pulled this from the tech bulletin for 10.0.3

3.3 IPOffice 10.0.0.3.0.5 – Resolved field issue - Critial Patch available
JIRA Number Description of Issue
IPOffice-118578
Missed Calls Call log – Missed calls that cover to VoiceMail are not registered in
the target telephone’s “Missed Calls” log. A Critical patch 10.0.0.3.3 Build 1 is
available on Support.avaya.com with the Administration image. Service Pack 4
2Q17 will include a fix for this issue.

Looks like you should upgrade to 10.0.4

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Wow, and I just upgrade to 10.0 in July... Because it's an SP update I shouldn't need a license correct?

Nope you can upgrade to 10.0.4 from 10.0.2 without a license. In fact you can even go to 10.1 without an upgrade license (which is not the norm).

Not sure I want to go that far up just yet. So looks like the downloads include a newer Manager version as well as the updated files for the controller.

Yup you upgrade manager to the version you want and then use manager to upgrade the control unit.

Does this upgrade include a new firmware for the phones themselves? I didn't see it in the bulletin, but i could have missed it, even reading over 4 times.

The tech bulletins show the firmware for each phone. So look for what firmware your phone has on 10.0.2 and then check what it will be on 10.0.4. That will tell you if the phones will upgrade or stay on current version of firmware. Since you did not post your phone model I am unsure if it will upgrade or not.

not sure how i missed it, but looks like there is. We are using 9608 with 6.630, and looks like it goes to 6.64. thanks for the help critchey.

You are welcome. Please remember to pink star (great post) any helpful posts.
