[mad]BCM450, R6. I have a BCM450 in one location with 10 IP phones located at another site off of the 450. Intermittently, when this one particular extension is called, it goes to the general delivery mailbox without even ringing. There is no mailbox on this extension and it has no forward on a busy and cfna is back to reception. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Check to see if Feature 984 has been activated when it happens.

nothing forwarded, she was sitting there at her desk, and one call came through and one went to Gen Del. Random.

Another thought
Check she has not activated Redirection on the phone.
You get a burst off ring and calls follows redirect.

Also check you don't have Auto attendant set up and picking up this call .
It may be set to 0 rings and answers call.
With no options selected the call will go the gen del mailbox.

no redirect, it does this intermittently. I am thinking about maybe VoIP trunks all being busy? I am wondering what happens if they are all in use. Seems like you would get a busy or "no free lines" but I don't know.

give it a try, put them on hold and call in, but should ring bussy

Use the BCM line monitor to see if it is the case of busy lines. How many IC keys does the set have.

I'm experiencing a similar behavior, what I'm wondering is if the person is receiving a vmail and a second call rings to vmail what happens? Does both vmail go to the vmail box or does or could one go to the general delivery? I'm currently checking into the feature setting option.
thanks
