Customer has a hearing issue in which the DTMF tones heard in the earpiece or headset on her callmaster phone are of a frequency that causes her severe pain. We would like to find a phone that will attenuate this noise down to nothing, or next to nothing. We would also welcome an LED solution or text read-out. Any suggestions?

What about a shriek suppression device such as Polaris Soundshield or Polycom Soundguard, these clip the upper level frequencies and in the case of the Soudshield are configurable.

I believe that Whisper features are worth looking at, but included in our effort is to soften or eliminate the tones heard in the users ear as she enters DTMF from her keypad. Thanks for the idea.

and you have their shoes.”

Interesting suggestions, and I thank you. I will check each of these ideas more closely. I am wondering if there is a method with an inline switch, to cut the sound to the ear as this person touches the keypad, and to release it when she is ready to converse.

thanks all.
