Opt 11c Release 4.5 with 3904 sets. Recently upgraded from r24.24 to r4.5 All sets have been flashed in LD 32.

The client is an executive suite in FL where I have a day and night IDC table routing incoming tenant calls to a receptionist during business hours and to the tenants after hours. The receptionist has a 3904 set. The tenant name has been loaded against the IDC entries in LD 95/DCNO so as the call is directed to the receptionist, she can answer appropriately.

The trouble being reported is in situations where multiple calls are arriving on the SCR keys of the receptionist, she briefly sees the tenant's name info, however as another call arrives, it is replaced with that next call's tenant name. As she places the calls on hold and returns to them, the name information is replaced with network name
information [in the case of my test call, she is now seeing my PRI's name information].

I'm not sure if the display on the 3904 can support all of the information [it's possibly being pushed off the screen] and I do not believe a DSP key will help after the call is placed and retreived from hold. The client was not reporting this prior to the r4.5 upgrade to my knowledge.

I'd appreciate your counsel.

Respectfully,
Vance

What are your RCAP values on your D-channel? Try using NDS

Jamie,
I have COLP value. Right-o. I see that NDS relates to NI-2, which my PRI interface is NI-2 as well.

I'll try this tonight and get back with you. Thanks.

NDS on your dchan only provides name delivery on pri from the co provided you are subscribing to name delivery from your telco. If the cls on your 3904 is set as TDD the display will change as callers arrive at another key on that set. The only other way is to have ADD cls on the set and a DSP key. When second call comes in on hunt dn, the display does not change to show caller on that dn. DSP has to be pressed then the flashing jey. This does not interfere with existing call nor does the caller on the active key know that you are viewing callers coming in on another key. In ld 95 if reason for redirection is turned on and values are assigned...HUNT..FWD..etc then you may have that attachment to caller info.

after the next call comes in, that name is gone, after she presses the key a display key may recall that name.. but if i have 4 calls ringing, i see the last call only.. i don't know of a way to freeze the screen... even on older rls's the display would show the ringing call.. your on the right firmware, is your display tdd in cls?

roupe and john,
Thanks for your replies. Her set does have TDD and was flashed after the upgrade. Redirection info is OFF in ld 95.

She isn't that concerned about the IDC names being changed as multiple calls arrive, but more concerned when she can't see those names after placing the caller on hold. When she retrieves the caller from hold, IDC name information is replaced with network name information. She sees my address information associated with my PRI here in Dallas.
