This is a new install of an SCN with 2 IP500's and 1 IP500v2. I have created the H323 lines between sites, and set IP Routes as well. I also created short codes to aid in dialing but still getting UNOBTAINABLE. Here is a brief config of the sites:

Site A: LAN1 Settings - IP=172.16.203.197, Mask=255.255.255.192; H323 Line - Line Number=80, Outgoing ID=80, Channels(#, Outgoing, Voice)=4, Gateway is 172.17.4.138, Allow Direct Media Path is checked. H323 Line - Line Number=81, Outgoing ID=81, Channels(#, Outgoing, Voice)=4, Gateway is 172.16.202.202, Allow Direct Media Path is checked. IP Route - IP Address=0.0.0.0, IP Mask=0.0.0.0, Gateway=172.16.203.197. Short Code - Code=1XX, Feature=Dial, Telephone #=., Line Group=80, Code=3XX, Feature=Dial, Telephone #=., Line Group=81.

Site B: LAN1 Settings - IP=172.16.202.202, Mask=255.255.255.192; H323 Line - Line Number=90, Outgoing ID=90, Channels(#, Outgoing, Voice)=4, Gateway is 172.17.4.138, Allow Direct Media Path is checked. H323 Line - Line Number=91, Outgoing ID=91, Channels(#, Outgoing, Voice)=4, Gateway is 172.16.203.197, Allow Direct Media Path is checked. IP Route - IP Address=0.0.0.0, IP Mask=0.0.0.0, Gateway=172.16.202.202. Short Code - Code=1XX, Feature=Dial, Telephone #=., Line Group=90, Code=2XX, Feature=Dial, Telephone #=., Line Group=91.

Site C: LAN1 Settings - IP=172.17.4.138, Mask=255.255.255.192; H323 Line - Line Number=70, Outgoing ID=70, Channels(#, Outgoing, Voice)=8, Gateway is 172.16.203.197, Allow Direct Media Path is checked. H323 Line - Line Number=71, Outgoing ID=71, Channels(#, Outgoing, Voice)=8, Gateway is 172.16.202.202, Allow Direct Media Path is checked. IP Route - IP Address=0.0.0.0, IP Mask=0.0.0.0, Gateway=172.17.4.138. Short Code - Code=2XX, Feature=Dial, Telephone #=., Line Group=70, Code=3XX, Feature=Dial, Telephone #=., Line Group=71.

IT Dept says they have all ports open on routers. Anyone have an idea. Been banging my head for a while.

Basic network fail I think, .138 (system) and .197 (GW) are in different subnets when using a .192 mask :)

Your IP routes are incorrect. Gateway address is the same as your IPO's IP. That won't work.

Shortcodes are not needed in a SCN, they will exchange directories as soon as SCN comes up.

Sorry .138 (GW) and .197 (system)...but still the same answer :)

Yeah, that post is confusing but there is either allsorts wrong with that network or you have confused your addresses when posting :)

To clarify things, I copy pasted and cleaned up. Removed the shortcodes -> not needed.

Again, gateway addresses in IP routes are the same as the IPO's IP. That will never route a single bit :p

NLPeterK is right.

Your IP Routes are incorrect.
IP=172.16.203.197, Mask=255.255.255.192
IP Route - IP Address=0.0.0.0, IP Mask=0.0.0.0, Gateway=172.16.203.197.

The gateway here should be pointing at the router which knows about the other subnets.

Just to add to the fun: you don't really need the cross contamination... Just take A as center and connect it to B and C. No need for a separate (expensive) connection between B and C.

In the process of making the changes as per your suggestions. Once up and running Stars to all.

Got it up and running. Problem due to wrong IP address in IP route. Too many IP's going through my head. Soon as I figure out stars/thanks you will get them. Thanks for the help.
