Alrighty guys, I so screwed myself and I am needing some expert advise asap.

everything was working fine..

IPO 500 v2 9.0

2 PRI incoming line group = 2 outgoing line group = 2

ARS 50 main set to give main business number

0N; 0Ns7025551234 dial group 2
XN; 0nS7025551234 dial group 2

Etc.

User Shortcodes:

[9]N;
dial
Ns7025552100
line group 2

(This use to override the ARS and show the correct outgoing CID for the extension - note: NOT extensions direct ICR - its a department main number)

So everything was working FINE until I increased dial delay to 5 seconds via system tab in manager.

I had to increase it to allow 4 digit extensions (there are 3 and 4 digits living on this one system -- I know, I know, couldn't get them to change their extensions)

After increase dial delay the caller ID does not going out with user shortcode.

But if I use REDIAL (and thus the number is dialed faster) then it shows the correct number,

Dial Delay time 3 (use to be 0)
Dial Delay count 5 (use to be 4)
Ring Delay count 3 (use to be 2)

Update:

I got caller ID working again with

Dial Delay 5
Delay count 0
Ring Delay 3

BUT now I can't dial 4 digit extensions... help anyone?

Does any of the 3-digit extn come in conflict with the 4-digit extn? (Like 222 and 2222).

Not familiar with Nevada dial pattern, but Dial delay: 4, Dial count: 0 is the default US settings.
(Kyle made an extensive research on this subject, you can find that on AACon's website,
But the system will send you off to the first match it finds, if there are two extn that partially match.

Kind regards

Gunnar

HI Gunnaro - I was using conflicting extensions

200 range for one group, 2000 range for the other.

I reset the dial delay to your suggestion above and it is now working.

Users had to accept the fact that they cannot have 2000 range extensions. Thanks for your help :) Stars to you sir!

You are most welcome, Heath.

(But I don't see any star though)

Kind regards

Gunnar
