We've had this issue for some time and still not sure of the cause. We're on MiVB 8.0. The issue is related to Dynamic Extension, whereas when an internal call is made to the DE extension in question via its extension #, the cell phone gets "Restricted" as the Caller-ID even though the COS has been flagged as a pass-through (Hot Desk External User - Display Internal Calling ID set to YES). Our trunking service is SIP however we had this same issue with a pure PRI. Any ideas as to why the Caller-ID info isn't going through?

I think you should first go to your provider and check if they will let you pass that information. Normally you will not be allowed to send CLI on outgoing that is not part of your incoming did-range.
Of course you can check in a wireshark trace on your MBG if the CLI info is in the sip headers of the outgoing call, but not showing on your EHDU, then you know that your provider is blocking this.

That's a good point and the funny thing is, another user here on AT&T Wireless is able to get extension info, but not the Verizon user.

Verizon likely has that phone in the VoLTE beta or it's enabled on the set, Call them to turn that off

I think you have your answer.

You can't duct tape stupid.
