My SOE used to lookup the caller's name in the directory but no longer does this. Did a recent upgrade break this?

Thanks,

wouldnt have thought so. its worked on every version afaik.

Have you tested by entering yourself into the directory and calling in?

"There's a dog in the New Zealand section

Did you try a reboot ?
Do you use a prefix and is that also in the directory ?

Are you getting your number delivered to the phone's screen insead of the name? Or are you getting nothing at all?

Take Care

Matt
I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Sorry, yes I am getting the number but no name.

But does the number match the number in the directory ?
And how many entries does the directory contain ?

If I call from my cell phone, the shows up as 1-10digit number "External" and where the rate center my cell phone is based.

I have 82 entries in the Directory (LDAP). I have added my cell phone in the system Directory both ways (10 and 11 digit) as a test.

Thanks,

If you had mentioned it erlier that you where using LDAP!!

Did you try Reboot the server/ipo?
New Firewall/Virusscanner?
Check if port 389 is blocked on the server.

If the setting aren't changed in the IPO the I wouldn't look there but on the LDAP server.

The IP Office System Status page shows all entries there so evidently the IP Office is communicating with the LDAP server just fine.

Like I said, I even added test entries to the System Directory.

Post a SysMonitor trace here, enable "Layer 3 Receive" in the ISDN tab and all LDAP events on the Directory tab.
