Caller ID (CLID) Not Passing to Twinned Phone with SIP

I have a SIP trunk on my IPO configured to use "Use Internal Data" for outgoing calls. When a call from an outside caller comes in to the extension, you can see the name associated with the number in the monitor. However, when the call gets sent back out to the twinned cell phone, the caller ID is changed to the number of the original caller without any spaces or dashes. The correct originating party phone number is presented to the twinned cell phone, but the name of the caller is replaced with their phone number. How do I correct this?

Try changing the Forward/Twinning to Original Caller on the SIP URI tab

I am running software version 9.0.1200.1006 and do not have that option for the SIP URI. Is there any way to correct this in version 9?

There is a system wide option "forward original number for twinned calls" or similar.

What are you thinking the "Name" is going to do on the twined call?

The "forward original number for twinned calls" option is turned on and the original phone number is passed to the twinned phone. However, the original Name is replaced with the number instead. While many cell phones do not display the name sent from the telco, some do and we also have some users who are twinning other landlines to their extension instead of a cell phone who would benefit from seeing the caller ID name.

You can watch a SysMon race to see what Gassigehen. But I guess the name handling in this case is hard coded.

I was curious so had a play, I can't get this to pass the "name" forward as part of the twinned call. Trying on R11.1.

I suspect it's working be design but you could log it with Avaya you never know your luck.
