I have (2) Incoming Call Routes with the same destination. When the user makes an outbound call, how does the IP Office system determine which one will be used as the Caller ID? It is setting the calls up with the opposite of what we want. I'm not sure why it's choosing one over the other, but I'm sure there's any easy answer. Any suggestions?

What kind lines do you have? SIP, ISDN BRI/PRI, analog?

Kind regards

Gunnar

It uses the first one added to the configuration, so delete the one it matches, merge and then add it in again :)

Gunnaro, ISDN PRI.

amriddle01, Hah! I wondered, but I was afraid to ask that. I shall give it a shot. Thanks!

I prefer to set the caller ID on the dial code for PRI's, but Andys suggestion works fine.

Kind regards

Gunnar

I am with Gunnaro
if a user has 2 possible DDI's it is always better to force it ion the user short-codes than to rely on the IPO automatically assigning the correct one (unless the presented number is not important.)
you can never be sure what change at a later date my upset things
