I have new IP500's on point to point wireless. R4.2(14)
Calling out the main site on the PRI the Caller ID passes fine. If I call out the remote site across the SCN the Caller ID gets stripped and replaced with the main number of the PRI for billing purposes. Anyone had experience with this?

Thanks.

How are you setting the outbound CLI?

Are you setting it at the remote site? If so, you probably need to use SS rather than S

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

It's possible that the provider of the PRI replaced what you were sending because it was outside the block of numbers assigned to your service.

Test for this is to send the same number from a phone on the site with PRI. See what happens.

Do a ISDN trace in Monitor and you'll see what CLI the IPO is sending to the provider.

As janni78 said post a trace. In Monitor under the ISDN tab select Layer 3 Tx. When you make your outbound call you can see the "Calling Party" IE that is being sent to the provider.
