susip shows (on extn) reserved.

action taken so far:
restarted, elp6, clp1, clp3, rmps, cmps,sfcei,
funtion tested TMU, manually reseated and restarted

planning on RFEXI at lunch time,

any ideas ?

advice pls, thanks

LB

hi,
still have a problem after RFEXI,

have tried restarting also KHH and EHH

BUT... I can cure if I kill the extension and reinitalise it.

however I have 600+ extensions,

sounds like corruption somewhere, any ideas ?

plus would buttoning the LIM do any different

regards

LB

thankxs

trying to "see" if I'm authorised to do that.

mind you if I'm on site then a "double button" does the same thing ?

cheers for the input much appreciated.

regards

LB

LB!

I had/have a similar problem with a BC10 (standard version, cna140 or higher. This seems to be a SW problem, but only in newer SP's. I am not sure if I found the fault, but starting this and that won¨t "cure" the disease, just moves the problem further. Just FYI, this was (again my memory!!)
located in RMP or CMP, but when more info, I'll let you know.

Lancbomb is so desperate, he almost dismantle the whole system. Can you let us know what sp release you've got. And also to clarify, you said 2 lim system, not via qsig.

Hi Guy's,
I can't check, but I'm sure it's CNA143. been in for at least a year no probs.
CMPs4 (I think). 2 Lims, connected via, GS link and DPNSS pipe.

We've told them till we fix not to do callbacks (LOL) looking like double buttoning the system next week

cheers for the input
will advise

callback missions are in QMP program unit

What You See Is What You Get

Daddy!
I know, but still the fault is not in QMP.

lancbomb:

Do you have any history (himdp) related to this? If not sure, clear the history (hirei), try to initiate the CAB, and when not working, check HIMDP.

fcpli,
no lost signals, HIREI, then forced fault, HIEDP and nada !!!!

Daddy,
didnt restart QMP

cheers
LB

OK, that's what I thought. Now, a question: Does the fault appear with ALL CAB's or only with some? I remember the fault was in about 50% of the phones, not depending in which LIM or EQU or anything. Amd this fault appeared when updating from CNI14x to 143. But still, I have to recover my
internal memory in order to give you a proper solution. Have patience!

Check the revision of QMP, it should be R4A in CNI143.

FICPLI,PATCHER,

hi, logged on today cadap shows
LZY2035152/6/BC10C144/R6A, so assume this is cna144 ?
program unit is
QMP - CAA 111/9571/01 REV R3C

no rhyme or reason for where it fails, BTW, had a call saying that the "problem" has now gone, but I still have been asked to double button the LIM on Wednesday, so any other ideas bewteen now and then would be great

thanks

LB

Hi lancbomb, no need to restart the system!
the guy that did load the CNI forgot to swap QMP unit, that's the reason it's no longer working...

What You See Is What You Get

hi daddy,

when we upgarded from 143 to 144, QMP was not in the files to upgrade, accordning to documemtation it "SHOULD" have been r4 already,

have uploaded and waiting testing

fingers crossed !

LB

QMP unit must have been swapped BEFORE the loading of CNI143. anyway , lapur/lapul with R4A unit should solve the problem...

What You See Is What You Get

daddy,

it should have been but it was'nt.

daddy,

looks like that fixed the problem

some more tests but that looks like it

cheers

buddy !

Hi (LIMS Labware User with Crystal Reports),

What's the exact way that we can use the Lims-Crystal Callback function- ListDescription(ListName, ListEntry).

In fact I was trying to get the return string from that fnction by parssing the list name (say "INST_FREQ") and a number after a calculation (say nNumber:=nBigNumber/25) through Totext (say Totext(nNumber)) and the return value was just nothing.

Could anyone can get me good examples on this case.

Cheers!
Chamila.
