Call Waiting/Call Appearance behaviour

Hello,

I understand that call waiting when you have call appearance buttons doesn't work, but I have a customer that their director says that because of the single tone, on the speaker of the phone, sometimes he can't be made aware of the awaiting call.

So the question is, Is there a way to modify the call-appearance behaviour so that it beeps more than once, or so that it beeps in the handset and not only on the speaker?

The only two solutions I see is to hang a cheap phone under his desk and have it call-coverage his extension, or to have him use Phone Manager on his PC...
 
Phone Manager does the trick. As far as I know there is no way to play with the ringers for the second CA on the phone itself.

Right, we did install Phone Manager, but it doesn't do much with the second call appearance but display it in the window and play a single tone. In Definity, this feature would be "Active Station Ringing", set to continous, but there is nothing of the sort on IP Office right now. Apparently, it was available on version 2.1... Avaya confirmed it doesn't do it, so I'm gona try to push it as a development suggestion to Avaya. It is a rather basic feature, and customers are not impressed :/
