Hello All,
Nice to be back on this thread !
I have come with a new situation today:
Scenario:
2 secretaries with extensions 1111 and 1112 respectively.
1 Manager with extension 2222
Requirement:
When a call reaches 1111 (called party 1111), if not answered, the call goes to 1112. If 1112 doesnot answer, the call finally reaches 2222
When a call reaches 1112 (called party 1112), if not answered, the call goes to 1111. If 1111 doesnot answer, the call finally reaches 2222
When a call reaches 2222 (called party 2222), if not answered, the call goes to 1111. If 1111 doesnot answer, the call finally reaches 1112
Secretaries must be reachable from their own extension; Outgoing calls (internal and PSTN) should show their own extension.
Proposed workaround:
I thought of assigning new (private) extensions to secretary A and B. eg, 991111 and 991112 respectively, under a line group, hunt pilot 1111.
DN 1112 be CFWDall to 1111.
DN Line Appearance > external phone number mask of 991111 to be 212XXXX (7 digit DID numbers in my country), same for 991112 to be 212XXXX.
Then on the hunt pilot 1111, Forward Hunt No Answer to 2222.
Finally, on the DN 2222, CallForward No answer to 1111.
Residual Issue:
When the secretaries are making outgoing calls "internally": their extension number will still show 991111 and 991112 respectively. Is there a way of displaying another number internally ??
Any other better alternatives, suggestions, guys?
Thanks for your views and help.
