Does anyone know if the the Mitel 3300 MCD 4.1 will record all incoming calls to a single mailbox automatically using the embedded voicemail?

I know it can be setup to record to individual users to mailboxes but need to record all incoming trunk/PRI calls.

Any info appreciated.

No, only individual MB and I don't recommend automatic.

Thanks for the confirmation, I didn't think it was possible but thought maybe on the newer software.

I read some other older threads on here about Oaysis etc...so I'll see what the pricing is like to go that way.

I can tell you its not cheap, i just got finished with going through a BETA for sip trunks with them. However, the product is hands down better than any of the others I have worked with. So before you drop the cash, make sure you want and will use all the high end reporting features.

Mitel will function with a lot of 3rd party recording vendors.

Bottom line, you get what you pay for.

Word of mouth only but I've heard that all of these are good:

Nice
Telrex
Verint

Verint has worked well for me. They have pretty good product support as well

Since you were trying to record everything to a single mailbox it might be best to select a solution where you simply tape the PRI. Most recording solutions basically record the IP traffic. To do this you either need to turn off the encryption on the 3300 or purchase a Secure Recording connector as part of your solution. That's why I would tap the PRI. Might be cheaper.

Just a thought.

There may be no i in team but there are three f's in fudge off.

Another good option is SmartRecord (and they are much cheaper than NICE...and better support).

ASC and VIP Solutions are fairly cheap. ASC always offers competitive pricing and can be used passive and active. Passive is much cheaper but relies on port mirroring.
Hope this helps, Regards.
