call queuing

hey guys,

ip office 406v2 R5.0.22

just wondering if it can be done as i have not set this up before....

need some sort of queuing. there are 4 phones but only 2 people. if both people are on the phones and another call comes in.....after 4 rings we want it to go to some sort of queuing. after we hang up the phone, we want to be able to look at the phone and see what line is on hold or is queued and press the button to pick it up.

can this be done?
 
but do all of the phones in the qroup have to be in use in order for the queuing to work? i thought that if one of the phones in the qroup is idle, the phone call will ring at the idle phone until voicemail picks up instead of going to a queu group?

i have set up queuing before....as in.... when all the phones in the group are busy the call will go into a queu state, and when someone hangs up the calls goes to them....

the issue here is that not all phones will be idle in the qroup. will this cause a problem?
 
yes i would give the users hunt group enable buttons to be able to log out the unused phones.

Also from V4.0 Announcements are seperate from queing calls so they can still be plaied even when a phone is ringing.

Still use the Huntgroup enable key for the useres though a ringing phone in the office wih no-one to answer will soon get anoying!
