Can anyone tell me how to program a menu option to dial out to another number?
For example, when the caller selects option 3, I want it to dial out to an 1-800 number to connect callers to an off site call center.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you familiar with App builder? Are there any in place? You can copy one and chg it to meet your needs.

I am working in application builder. I have a completed tree but I have to add the outbound transfer option.

just drag a call transfer onto the screen, name it, right click properties and enter the number..if it;s a dial 9 plus and does not work look at your rpl's

It doesn't give me the option, it only allows me to foward to the operator or to a specific DN.
Do I have to foward an extension and then point it there? It seems that was how it was done brfore.
How do I create a virtual DN and foward it to an external number (if that is the solution).

Create a Phantom Port (500) set in LD 20. DTR DCFW 9npanxx to call the external number. You can test it by dialing the Phantom DN. Then point the app builder to transfer to the Phantom DN you created.

Thanks RahjiSupreme-can you break down the programming of that phantom port for me? I need to know how to create it and how to foward it.
Thanks.

We already have a phantom loop created-how do I add the extension, then foward that extension to an outside number?

fastest way.. ld 23 new acd xxxx maxp 1 ncfw to the external number..

dial the new number (xxxx) you'll get the outside line... but you may still be blocked from external to external... there is a dozen ways to block that..

Thanks-that worked. I created an acd group in ld 23.
Thanks John and everyone-you folks are great.

Here is an example Phantom DN. Sometimes they work better than the ACD with NCFW. Just in case you ever need it.
