In the configuration wizard under switch information, it asks for the switch customer number. According to the help section that is the switch acd's numbers. Is the number I enter the acd agent queue number? i.e. the acd dn for the virtual agents? If you can please give an example
Thanks

For the switch information the customer number is the same as in the PBX. Usually 0 (zero). The switch information the config wizard is looking for is this

TN (card slot the 201I or the Mgate card. Example Option 11 is - slot 8 - port 0 - 8 0
1 - 8 1
ans so forth.

it is looking for acd agent ID key 0 acd 7000 0 1234 with the 1234 being the agent ID

it is looking for key 1 also key 1 scn 4321 with the 4321 being what it is looking for.

Also it want the switch IP address. You can stat ELNK in ld 137 and get the IP address of the switch.

CallPilot want you to have the agent ID and SCN numbers in sequence. ie agent for port 0 1234 port 1 1235 port 2 1236 etc. Same with key 1 scn.

All you have to do is tell the wizard how many ports you want programed and put the first one in and tell it to populate the rest.

recap

needed
Swith IP address
Customer number (0)
Number of channels keycoded in CallPilot
TN of port 0
Agent ID of port 0
SCN of port 0

then tell it to populate the rest

It will ask you for the CDN of the CallPilot and put it in as voice messaging.

You never have to put in the ACD number of the ACD que for CallPilot

Need anything else post and will try to answer

Larry

Thanks, I will try that in the morning. Do you think having something other than 0 -the wrong customer number- in the config cause the dso channels to not initilize?

Make sure the ELAN in LD 48 shows the IP address of the CallPilot and is enabled. Also print the CDN in LD 23 and look for the CNTL prompt. If CallPilot has taken control of the CDN it will say YES. When CallPilot finally has booted into service, look for CDN002 (with the CDN number) after it. That means CallPilot has taken control of the CDN. If all of that shows OK the try looking at hardware. What type of CallPilot is it? 201I, 702T, or 1002 rack mount? If 702T or rack mount, make sure the white cable to the MGATE card in plugged into the correct port on the back of the CallPilot. Also NORTEL has recommended that CallPilot NOT be place in slot 9 or 10 of an Option 11 because it can cause strange problems because the slots were originally designed for Mer Mail. Nothing in writing but I have worked with ETAS many times on CallPilot problems and that is their recomendation. Let me know

Larry

also make sure on ld 23 ALOG is set to YES.

when you go to LD 20 and make a STAT on CP channel TN's, does it says IDLE - LOG IN?

unk's right, for a while the vlan and clan cables were mis marked, you had to roll them to get it up ..

What is the printout for. It is not for a CallPilot ACD queue. Looks like a Mer Mail. The rolled lan cables was reversed for a while but has not been that way for a while now.

Do you work for Bellsout Business? Cant find you in Outlook

Thanks for all the help. Turns out the elan and clan cables were crossed labeled from the factory. swapped them and fixed the problem
