I am starting work on a new BCM 400. I can get into everything including access to the admin for the system. I was able to even set up my own access but I can not get into Call Pilot.

Can I reset the Cdall Pilot password using my admin access via Bus. Comm. Mgr.?

Can I reset the PW via the usual reset that I use for MICS or CICS?

Thank you, will this information tell you anything about this sytem?

I can gain access to the admin and I even created my own login. I can not seem to get into Call Pilot at all, it is asking another password and the 0xxx is not working.

Is there a way to reset that either with my admin access or via the T7316?

Thanks

Great. I assume that is the same procedure I use with NAM and CP?

Got in.
By the way looking at the info. i posted how do I tell what SW version this BCM is running on. I believe it is pretty ol and has not been updated by the customer in a long time.

I think I just found it at the top of my system inventory. Looks like V 3.7.

Can you tell me what the latest release is and is there really any major changes that this client would benifit from?

Latest release is 6.0, but you would need to swap hardware past 4.0. There are extra features along the way, but the greatest improvement is in stability. They changed OS from MS NT to Linux from 3.7 to 4. Also element manager (available on 4.0) is much faster to use as a programming interface.
