call park with yealink dect phones does not work! 1

Hi everyone,

I can not get the shortcode for call park/unpark to work (*37N or *38N). I ran a monitor and found that the yealink is sending an invite to the avaya IPO like *381@IPAddrssOfIPOffice
Not sure if there is a way to make it work?

Try adding a *38N@IPAddrssOfIPOffice / N / Call Park short code and see what happens.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

I have the W60B with W56H handsets on my system (9.1.212) and call park works fine.

First step I had to change the system default short codes from *37*N# / *38*N# to remove the hash, ie:

otherwise the Yealink phone thinks the # is the "Send" button and doesn't actually send it.

Then on the base under Features -> Call Pickup I configured the codes as follows:

That provides a static park slot that you can transfer to by pressing Options -> Call Park on the Yealink phone. It'll perform a transfer and you just press End to complete the transfer.

This particular system is in my home so we only really use Park 1, but you can do a directed transfer to other slots if you want - but if you want to use the Call Park option on the phone then you need to specify a slot.

To unpark a call from the Yealink I just dial *38*1 and press the green handset button.

Shaun E, Thank you for your detailed instruction. It worked for me but there is some little issue that I will try to find a fix for it. When I transfer a call to a park slot, the call gets parked but in the phone it still showing that its trying to transfer that call.
