Call Park feature with console permissions - Help! 1

I need to use call park 'zones' with a phone that has console permissions. From the way I read the book, you can change the console parameters to assign park zones, or common shared extensions. So you take these numbers and assign them as busy indicators on the phone that has console permissions (allowed in the COS). This isn't a real console/operator by the way. So then you are supposed to be able to call the phone with console permissions and then that person call park you in a park zone/common shared extension. The procedure for that I believe is, press transfer, dial the park code, press the button programmed with the common shared extension/park zone...and you get the standard three-burst of dial tone to know that it accepted the procedure. Now, my problem is, I park the call in the park zone but I cannot pick it up from another station which is what we want to do. I tried all kinds of things, checked COS, COR and so on. Anyone ever use 'park zones' on a Definity phone that has console permissions? This is a G3csi (Prologix) release 9. Please let me know what you think. If you had this work, please tell me the exact settings and procedure to use this feature. Thanks :)

You used the Answer-back FAC? (Dumb question maybe, but I missed it in your description)

Home is were you end up when you've got nothing better to do

Yes, to retrieve the call, I dial the answer back code and then the ext where it was parked. In this example, I used 881 thru 888 as the common shared extensions for the park 'zones'. So I call from one ext to the other ext with console permissions, I press transfer, dial the park code and then 881. I get the beep, beep, beep like it worked (although the busy indicatior for 881 only lights up for a second or two and doesn't stay lit). The call appearance that the call came in on continues to flash like it's on hold. I use yet another phone to dial the answer back code and then 881 and then I get the intercept tone like I dialed something wrong. Not sure what's up. Has anyone had this work before (without using a real attendant console)?

Actually, I seem to even have a problem with parking a call at a station normally. If you park a call at your phone, and then go to another phone and dial the answer back code along with the station number where the call was parked, you get the error tone! What's up? I can't find anything goofy in the COS or COR...looks ok. Codes are assigned on the features page too. Crap :(

I figured out my problem. I wasn't pressing TRANSFER one last time, after dialing the park code. Didn't sound like it needed it, but it does. Here's the scenario I'm using which works well now:

TO PARK A CALL IN A 'PARK ZONE' USING COMMON SHARED EXTENSIONS:
1. Assign a range of available ext numbers on the console parameter
screen. Enter starting number and then the range you want to
have available. For example, if 7000 through 7007 is available in
the PBX and you want to use all of those numbers as park zones,
enter 7000 on the Starting Ext field and then 8 in the Count field.
2. Assign console parameters to phone that will use the park zones.
(Assign COS that has console parameters to that phone)
3. Assign a busy indicator for the range of park zones you set aside
in the console parameters form. For example, assign a busy indicator
for 7000, 7001, 7002 and so on, for as many as you want to use.
4. To use - Answer call.
5. Press transfer.
6. Dial Park Code.
7. Dial park zone number where you want the call parked or press assigned busy
indicator for that park zone - hear 3 beeps. (7000, etc - for this example)
8. Press Transfer again.
9. Call is parked at that park zone and busy indicator lights for that
'park zone'.

TO RETRIEVE PARKED CALL IN PARK ZONE:
1. Dial Answer Back Access Code.
2. Dial park zone where call is parked or press assigned busy indicator.
3. Call has been retrieved.

Now to make life simple.
Take and put those all in system speeddials (less digits)
