Hi
when i'm busy and receive an internal call on my 1616 phone
a call-log entry is made, but no entry if i receive a call
from outside via DID.
Is there a possibilty to get also an call-log entry from external?
Hi
IPO is 6.1.5 and 1616 is 1.300B
my Trunk is German PRI.
A call from an other PBX (via BRI - Point-to-Point) will appear
in the call-log, very strange behaviour.
Andy - When I first started in telecoms I had to help with a CS1000 install by unboxing and patching out 771 of those phones - and I still dont know what the symbols mean
There is a server on the left under the desk too running 1XP, CCR etc
Sorry for derailing the thread somewhat, the only time I get the entry is if I leave it abbreviated ring and alert on the second line, dropping to two appearnce keys and reserving last CA stops the handset being alerted and so can't log the call as missed, is this not the case with you?
Maybe i do not understand right, but here internal calls are loged in "missed calls" without a second CA.
The Problem is on DDI Calls via PRI when i'm busy.
hope there is no Prob that Manager is in German Language
come back if you need more informations
At our systems I noticed that internal calls will be written into call list when I'm talking. I use just two CAs with my phone (an have 'reserve last CA' ticked.
I tested in the following Scenario:
IP500v1, 6.1(5)
Internal Call from Ext 99 (1616, Rel. 1.300B) to Ext 38 (1408, Rel 10.0).
If I call from 66 to 38 (during 38 is busy) there will be a new CallLog Entry for missed calls and call log key becomes red.
If I call from outside line (PRI trunk) to 38 (during 38 is busy) there will be no new call log entry.
I also tested that scenario with a 1608 (Rel. 1.300B).
I think there should never be a new entry or always. But not just only for internal calls.
