Call log stopped lighting up on phones and nothing logged ...

Good Afternoon.. I am stumped. IP500 V2 8.1.(69)

Seems the call log is not lighting up or taking "notes" with missed calls. I made sure that under the telephony tab Centralized call log in (system default on) What else could cause the problem? Caller ID is working fine. I do see the Log missed hunt group calls has my Group in there...


Also when a caller hunts a group and a member of the group is on the phone it seems that it will not go to the voicemail.. Maybe a call coverage issue?

depends on the type of phone used.

A missed call on some phones do not include those answered by voice mail since they were answered...by voice mail.
You have one of those phones if you hang up before voice mail answers and it is logged as missed versus not being logged as missed when voice mail answers.
Most of the older phones don't distinguish like that. It is considered missed if the phone does not answer the call.

 
These are new 1408 phones and they do not show up if the caller hangs up before voicemail..These are regular POTS lines as well.

Well you are on the latest release so perhaps you found something new regarding call logging.
However when in doubt boot it out.

 
I will try rebooting the processor and see if it fixes itself or many it is a problem with the .69 ...
 
You will need to login to Manager | Expand your IP Office | System | Telephony | Call Log tab under that | Enable Log Missed Calls Answered at Coverage

Click OK and File | Save Config and merge it
 
Thanks for the response. I have done this and even rebooted the system. The failure of the call logging is only affecting the 3 hunt groups, the single extensions are working... ??
 
There was a check box under that for logging hunt groups. Was that checked?
 
[tt][/tt]I will double check but I believe there was only one box to check....
