Hi when I enable Call FWD on my IP office to lets say my cell phone. It rings my cell phone 3 times then goes back to the IP office voicemail system. Any reason why? I would like for the ip office to just fowrard the call and have my cell phone do the rest. I can not figure it out for the life of me. I have changed the "no answer time" in the manager and if I put it at around 35 seconds my cell phone voicemail is triggered.

Am I missing something?

If the no answer timer elapses before your cell phone voicemail picks up then the call is pulled back.

The user's no answer timer doesn't apply if the call was originally targeting a hunt group so make sure you account for that if this is the case.

It depends which version.
Older version then yes this happens but the newer versions have a settings called "transfer return time"
When this is set to 0 or off then it will not return.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

My ip office manager software is 6.2 (11) and the avaya system is ip406u.bin? Not sure how to tell the version?

Anyway, the user is a normal user and not part of a hunt group. Under Telelphony -> call settings the "Transfer Return Time" is set to Off.

"No answer time" is set to 25

and "wrap up time" is 2.

Do I need to change Transfer Return Time to 0 instead of off?

I figured it out. The default no answer time globally was 15 seconds. I needed to changed this to 25 for everyone, not just my self.
