Task:
I'm trying to setup DND or a call forwarding feature on a 1408 phone without the use of a 'DND' or 'call forward' button. I would prefer to program this feature without the use of a button because the phone is installed in a room the public has access to for usage. A button that could be easily disabled (intentionally or accidently) to make the phone ring could cause problems because it is located in a 'no ring environment'. I already have a DND button programmed on this phone/ext, but it'll only be a matter of time before it gets 'accidentally' disabled. Anyone have a solution to this?
