Call Forward to Cell

When one of our sales people forwards his desk phone to his cell phone it works fine unless a caller tries to use dial by ext through the voice menu. It rings 4 times and then the call pilot lady says that the call can't be made and to contact your admin.

When I forward my desk phone to my T-Mob cell it works fine direct or through dial by ext. It only happens when the cell phone forwarded to is a Verizon phone, does that make any sense?
 
Check the restriction/permissions for the COS the mailbox is in, especially if the salepersons phone NXX is different from yours, also check the same for the thru dialer.
 
why are they even getting to VM or that menu if he is hard fwd to his cell?

Thats what I thought, shouldn't the call be completely handed off to the cell phone and get the cell phone voicemail if he doesn't answer? It's like the call isn't leaving the system when dial by ext is used.
 
You would have to look at the DCH messages to see what the Redirect reason is.
