Call classifier Installation

I am installing a Call Classifier card and am very new to the system. What is it that I need to configure to get this up and running? What tests can I run after configuring the card to make sure it is functioning properly?

Any assistance would be Greatly appreciated.

You can plug it into any slot including the service slot assuming you have a MCC. Without looking at the maintenance manual I not sure what testing you might want to do. You can try "test board x (cabinet, carrier,slot) long" to make sure it passes.

li meas ton summ toda" will show you how many classifier ports you have at the bottom of the screen. This may take a day to update the count though.

Thanks for the info. Don't I have to configure this in some way, like specify a slot, etc? I am very new to the whole telecomm thing, I know some stuff but have never had to add a card.
