Greetings,

We have a call center that wants to overflow calls to another call center in a different part of the city. To save money, they want to connect via SIP trunks over an MPLS network. The main call center is an S85xx 5.2.1. The far end switch is a latest version Mitel that supports SIP trunking. The customer does not want to buy an SES just for a few SIP trunks.

Has anyone connected a CM to a Mitel using native SIP trunks? Any advice on setup?

Thanks.

We figured it out. Pretty much like setting up an IP trunk group except both ends have to be set to sig type SIP using tcp. Also, make sure you use the same domain name as in the network region.
