IPO 8.1 with VMPro

I'm looking for a way to have an alert generated when a call is either placed or received by a specific phone number. Thinking this has to be done in two ways...

For incoming calls, the main number goes through a VM pro module, which I think I can add something to check caller ID and have an email sent - but not sure how this will work for all the other DID's that go straight to users phones as defined by incoming call routes. Any ideas?

For outgoing calls I was thinking of a short code match for 9,1-xxx-xxx-xxxx but then not sure what to do after that, VM module?

Any ideas would be helpful!!
 
If you define that number in a dial emergency shortcode you can then configure system email alerts to notify you when an emergency call is made, that's what it would be classed as... so you have your notification :)

 
That's great. Sounds like it should work for the outgoing calls. I'm in system events, but am unsure of which event to choose, as I don't see one relating to emergency.

Any ideas on the incoming calls from this number?
