Call accounting

Hi All,

I could use some help with a minor issue here.

A customer of ours has a MICS 6.1 with a Call Pilot 150 2.0 with M-series phones.

They subscribe to a "call accounting" system from Verizon which requires that a 4-digit code be entered after a tone which is generated, whenever a long-distance number has been dialed, in order to complete the call.

They want to forward incoming calls to a long-distance destination on some extensions, occasionally.

We tried F78 and F78 twice (for double the delay) followed by the 4-digit code for that extension but neither scenario produced the desired result. The call process stops after the tone and doesn't seem to accept the 4-digit code to continue the call-forward to the LD destination.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

F78 = 1 1/2 seconds
Did you put enough in?
I would start with 4 and test or just call out and count how many seconds until you here the second dial tone then add as desired.

Thank you very much. That worked.
In fact three 'delays' did the trick.
I REALLY appreciate your quick response.
Thanks again.
