Button Programming - immediate blind transfer.

Hi.

I have been asked by one the bosses to program a button (1608l) so it blind transfers the call to ext 555 without the need of him having to pick it up. is this possible? we have ip office 500v2 r9

Cheers

You can do 1 touch transfer, but you need to have answered the call first, you can't immediate transfer while it's alerting your phone :)

it used to be possible with phone manager but I don't know if One-x supports that functionality
Phone manager is not supported on V9 so you are probably out of luck

You could use the To Voicemail button and from VM Pro send it to ext 555 if he doesn't use voicemail.
But if he doesn't want to answer his phone I guess he doesn't wanna listen to voicemails either ;)

re-reading the requirement

why dosen't he set divert unconditional to ext 555?

alternatively if he has Divert no-answer set to 555 does pressing No Calls when the extn is ringing (it will bounce a group call never tried it with a direct call

Possible scenario: He may wish to answer the girlfriend but not the wife.

May the force be with you.

the scenario is - if he doesnt recognise the number he doesnt answer the phone. so he wants to get someone else to screen his calls.

Make DND exceptions for those he knows. (With that kind of attitude, it can't be many [smile])

Kind regards

on the 1608l if theres an incoming call and you press the >> softkey you get the option to send the call "To VM" is there a way of emulating that softkey function on a programmed button but instead of to vm i can set an to ext 555 ??? or even better would be - change the >> softkey to the left of "To VM" to "To 555" ???

Bridged appearance to 555?

It's not quite there, but possible and easy

Take Care

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.
