Hey amriddle, I believe I figured it out. I programmed buttons to extension then opened file and copy. Navigated to new extension and then pasted. All the buttons copied from first set. Is this the method you were referring too????

Unfortunately that method only created a duplicate extension. How can I copy all buttons from one to another??

Go in Manager > User > Button programming, select th range of buttons to copy and press the copy button.
Then go to another users button programming, put the cursor on the most upper button were you want the programming to start and press the paste button.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..... don't be giving away the secrets. The first rule of cut'n'paste is no one speaks about cut'n'paste.

Next you'll be telling them how to use user rights.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

No I will not, he doesn't ask for it.

Script for answering questions:
1 - Is it documented? > yes? - send docs - done
No
2 - Can you answer the question within 5 minutes? Yes - give the answer (do not elaborate on the matter) - done
No
3 - Offer a training - accepted? - done
No
4 - send a engineer - done

Hey Intrigrant, I could only highlight one at a time so, Go into user, button programming, press control and highlight buttons to map. Press copy and toggle down to next user, highlight button to start from and paste...Works like a charm. Thanks

The user rights method is for when you want several users to have the same buttons and not be able to fiddle with them. Doesn't have to be all buttons, some can be left free for programming individually.

Simple create a new User Rights in the config and use the secret method (okay, cut'n'paste) to load it with the button features needed. Then select the Apply User Rights option for each button that you want locked to the template.

Then in the configuration of the individual users, select this set of User Rights as being used by them.

Best route is to press F1 whilst on the user rights form.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
