On a 9600 phone.
When a call is altering, sofkeys: [Answer], [To VM], [Ignore], [Drop], appear.
If I have voicemail turned off for the extension and press the [To VM] key then the call goes to voicemail anyways even though VM is turned off. This could be a feature or a bug depending on what you'd like to have happen for the user.
If I have voicemail turned on for the extension and press the [Drop] key then the call goes to voicemail but I already have a button for that.
If I have voicemail turned off for the extension and press the [Drop] key then nothing happens and the call continues to present to the phone.
Question: What is the point of the [Drop] key on alerting calls? At best it is redundant.
