BUG 5947 on enable of loop

I have a NI2 B8ZS ESF PRI that has been unstable on a Opt.11c r24.24 in Loop 1. TDMI cards on both PRI. My primary CC is locked to Loop 2 PRI that is stable. Both d-channels and PRI are identical, just from different telcos.

When I enable the PRI in loop 1 in question, I get a lot of the following:

Hi John,

LCNT is buggered on the PRI in question. Very high counts on frame slip deletion counter and loss of frame alignment counter. The other provider's span has no counts - very stable, all zeros. I have my CC locked to primary on this stable span.

Yes, reseting the counters has been completed after each time the telco has me bring up the circuit (after they find a problem and claim to have corrected it). The slip and frame alignments error counts immediately start increasing on the PRI in question after I reset.

My concern was the bug5947 code messages, which i'm not familiar with. They flood the screen when I enll the loop.

in the book that error is saying the dchannel number is 255 and the one refers to invalid d channel number.

Exactly! This really confused me as I don't see a d-channel 255 when I print my ADAN. I wonder if I should out this PRI and dch completely and rebuild. hummm.

Looking back, this database has had software corruption in the past that has affected stations (stations drop out of the dnb) and it sometimes won't do an EDD (no go-bad data) so I have to do an edd clr.

The bug code is very confusing.
