Blocking call transfers to external in Aura 6.3

Hi All,

Forgive the noob question.

My scenarios is as follows, have Avaya Aura for a legal department that communicates with other department via trunk/analog extension ports. This is owing to the fact that other departments are on a different PABX. Only the legal team on Avaya owing to recording requirement.

The legal department is now not allowed to transfer calls to other departments. So i have been asked to config the aura in such a way that no transfers outside the legal dept should be allowed by the system. I am trying to look at COS but have nothing so far.

look at the cor's on page 2 there you will find your answer

restrict call forward off net would affect everyone who really needs this feature, so restricting through the cor is a much better way to do this

Assing a new cos then.. Depend the setup. Sometimes There's no beter or not, depend. Just give one more choice help to take decision!!

no I agree but he would get complaints doing it that way, much better to assign a new cor to the legal dept and then on page two he can assign permissions to call other cor's

I will try with the CORs then. The issue though is transfers and forwarding not necessarily calling. They should still be able to call the old pabx but not tranfer calls to the old pabx.

The setup is that calls go out via the E1, all calls to pstn mobiles etc. Only calls to old pabx go out via the analog trunk ports.
