How would you guys block an incoming call? What options do I gave?

Thanks

Ron

What system are you dealing with?

"If I had known it would turn out like this, I would have become a locksmith" Albert Einstein

NCSS, NCTS, NCTE, CS1000E, Avaya IP Office, Mitel 3300 Basic & Advanced, 5000, SX200, NuPoint

MCD, CX, MXe or do we still reference them as 3300's?

Thanks

Ron

If you are trying to be selective and block calls based upon incoming caller ID the 3300 controller does not have this capability natively

If you have a Nupoint VM, it can be used for Calling Line ID Filtering

If you have CCM IVR, it can be used as well.

Other than those, you're likely going to require a 3rd party application for this.

Simple. Someone is being harassed.

Thanks kwbMitel.

Assuming you have an MBG between the 3300 and the SIP provider, I think you can do the call blocking in the MBG.

Nupoint or IVR are the only methods at this point without the carriers help.

You can't duct tape stupid.
