We are getting incoming calls from people spoofing our numbers. We own all 10000 line. We would like to block all ten thousand lines. If people in our system dial all ten digits we strip the first five digits to keep it in the system. we are on CM 6.3

AAR or Ars digit conversion for keeping it internal.

You need to expand on blocking requirement , as im not clear on what you want to do.

ACSS (UC/SBCE/SM/SME)

Not that they mean a thing anymore , get a brain dump pass the test crash the system.

people are spoofing our number block (10,000 lines) and calling our extensions. Our extensions are answering the calls thinking they are someone in our system. We would like to block all incoming calls that do this. We are CM 6.3

too many for ec500 and no way to do this calling extensions directly. If they all came through a vector it could be done but in your case you are out of luck.

You could check with your Carrier and see if they can do something.

what trunks do you have ?

Do you have ASBCE ?

If yes to either or well then its possible , if you are PRI well not so much so

Thanks for the replies. We are pri and we did check with our carrier. We will live with it.

It is a pain in the ass but it is possible. Create a vector that has the following.....
go to step 99 if ani = xxxx
step 99 would have busy

You can create multiple vectors and link them too

So how are you going to modify that many inbound extensions? good luck

This might work better:
change calling-party-number-conversion

Delete out the incoming number and trans-code it to a vdn/vector with a line of busy.

Where would you find that? and even if it could be done how would people be able to dial their extensions?

it wouldn't affect dialing other peoples extensions. You are basically just altering the ANI number you specify to forward to a specific extension where they will just hear a busy signal.

What is the command on the pbx as you got me curious about this lol

Odd. I'm on version 6.3 and the command works. More than likely you would need a 3rd party application along with an AES server to have a more user friendly way of blocking inbound calls.

Sorry not an option as we do have full dadmin rights so very weird
