On Phone manager and softconsole not working for remote sites. Blf on phones are fine but the speed dial icon are not working. Firewall is off, have the ports open on the VPN ran the fw file for fun, no help. Checked caveats not sure if issues posted are the same as mine. Anyone have a similar experience?

Not working at all? Or only upto 5 working?

For the remote users represented on my softconsole, not working at all. I should be more clear though, the remote users are on an SOE at the remote site.

Sorry to ask that.
In the last 4.1 builds some of our SCN Sites who ran a centralised Reception complained of BLF updates only working for 5 people.

Avaya said this was feature intents, but were updating this in next 4.0 build or 4.1

So if i'm right, every thing works on your PMpro an SC but the status info on your BLF ins't?!
I had that same problem, turned of the windows firewall but also the new McAfee had a firewall in its virusscanner so try to the stop the 2 services of your virusscanner.

Ron, I know the posts I have seen from you are often helping others and your very switched on, however if these are remote sites it couldnt be a port issue on your links at all could it?

And why do you have ports blocked in a vpn ???
You say you have the right ports open but put them all open
With a vpn connection you don't need to block ports

Women and cats can do as they please and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea!

I was pointing out they were open to prevent posters from saying to open port 50799 or something else. I know they are open but not everyonr understands that. But thanks for that.

bas I do have Norton running on this machine. I haven't had a chance to shut it off, so I will try.

provider, by switched on it do you mean fiery and ornery in a passed off kind of way? Then you would be correct. I think you are correct in what you say about the VPN. I will try bas's idea and let you know.

The point is it is not a 4.1 issue. Good!
