got informed this week from the horses mouth that 6.1 is a paid for upgrade.

Terry Jones nearly got beaten up.

I guess there is no difference to a site already running R6 upgrading to 6.0 to someone going straight to R6.1 (from < R6)license wise. they both need the same one

Jamie,

You can skip versions without extra costs.
If you upgrade from 5.0 to 6.0 you need a license.
If you upgrade from 5.0 to 6.1 you still only need one license.

I just thought the minor upgrades (x.0 to x.1).were going to be made cheaper. Should have known better!!

We found a bug that was present in v5 and 6.0 and the fix was put into 6.1 - we received a free upgrade licence key for 6.1 - shame we were already on 6.1 lol
