gOOD aFTERNOON,
I HAVE A bcm450 with 75 licsenses, the sets are getting their ip from a domain server , when I try to register a set, it takes the dn (in active and will boot for a bit and then search for server- I will see it go on line briefly in the monitor and if I go to active sets, it's not p[opulated-when I go to inactive sets it is there and shows on line. we have 50 active sets, the max is fine and the range is good. this is a rough one.
15 sets where recently deactivated and I just can't get anything else registered, it seems to only get half way there. crazy, never senn this before.
Any help would be great-system patched up to date.

So the S1 settings on the set are pointed to the domain server?

Did a bunch stop working or new install?

the s1 and s2 are pointed to the bcm450- no, the current sets are working we just can't add any- it will get to the ppoint where it asks for a dn- we input it. we see it populate in the monitor stating it has not connected since last reboot- it will not populate in active sets but when you look at inactive sets it is there and when you click on ip terminal details it shows as on line- shouldn't the dhcp be set as partial?

Have you been onto the IP Sets settings to see what sets are registered.

Go to Configuration, then Resources followed by "Telephony Resources". Click on the Internal IP sets line and this will bring up 3 tabs and the middle one called "IP Terminal details" will show you the actual status which is better than the active or inactive sets area.

You might have to deregister some IP phones. Do a count on how many you have listed there.

Use BCM monitor.
You have a TAB there called ip devices
You can see the amount of licences and sets registered
You can see all the phones connected and IP address assigned.
