BCM450 going from 1.0 to 5.0 1

What is required? 1 upgrade keycode and 1 cd upgrade kit only?

Any suprises?

2 hours to upgrade give or take?


And same for 6.0 on process or do you need to go to 5.0 first?

one upgrade keycode for rls 1 to rls 5. You won't reveive any software, I downloaded the upgrade file from Nortel when I downloaded the patches. It took 1.5 hour to do a backup, upgrade, patch, install 5.0 image, and do another backup. No runs, no hits, no errors. Make sure you do the 5.0 factory image after making sure you don't need to revert back to 1.0.

I don't have any info on 6.0 upgrades yet but it is probably similar.
