BCM450 - Forwarding to Long Distance Code

I am trying to forward to my cell phone from our system that requires a 4 digit long distance code to be added after getting the oustide line. I tried step in thread1361-1699544. But they did not seem to work for me or I don't understand all the steps.

Scenario
Local exchange: 215
Cell number exchange: 561
Long Distance Code: 1234(example)
BCM 450 Version 6.0 / Phones IP 1230

Phone is being forwarded to 8888.... there is timer on internal call phone, but nothing happens and the call does not go through.

Really strange.
Usually the problem is reversed and outside callers will have a problem.
I have to agree with Curly on this one. Maybe the caller is just hearing the prompt to input the code during the 7 second pause in the dial string before the code is automatically dialed and doesn't really need to input the code.
Wait it out and see what happens.

I love the wisdom. With a little more patience I waited and the call does go through. If anyone knows how to bypass the message that would be great. Thank all of you for your assistance. Seems it could still be confusing but it does work. Thank all of you very much.
