Hi
I just put in a (used)BCM 50 for a client.
After 5 pm the client wants to transfer his "line 1" to his cell phone, but when i entered the "*72" (the carrier's code to transfer the line) i get "restricted call"?.
I checked the filters for sets and lines and both filters assigned have "no restrictions" on them.
I am fairly new to the BCM 50 and know that i am doing something wrong...can anyone shed light as to what is going on here??.

In the mean time, the client has hooked up a single line telephone to transfer his line 1 after 5 pm.
Any help on this matter would greatly be apreciated.

I also should mention that the "restricted call" comes up after the *7 is entered (i can't even enter the digit 2).

thanks.

tried another filter "00" no restrictions....still the same problem.
It seams to be the *7 combination.
digit 7 has no effect but a *7 causes a restricted call.
does the BCM 50 reserve this number pair for other operations?

Yes.?..It is line 061 (line 1) assigned to the extention 221.

Check with BCM Monitor
hit "line 1" key then dial *72 and observe the BCM Monitor what happend

will try that tomorrow and let you know....hopefully it will show something more than "restricted call".
Thank you for the advice
