I am trying to forward to my cell phone from our system that requires a 4 digit long distance code to be added after getting the oustide line. I tried step in thread1361-1699544: BCM 50, Forwarding to External Number. But they did not seem to work for me or I don't understand all the steps.

Scenario
Local exchange: 215
Cell number exchange: 561
Long Distance Code: 1234(example)
BCM 450 Version 6.0 / Phones IP 1230

Route--------External Number-----------Use Pool-------------DN Type------------Service Type-----------Service ID
000----------------------------------------------------A ------------------ N/A --------------------N/A-------------------N/A
001----------------------------------------------------BlockA--------------N/A--------------------Public-----------------N/A
002----------------------------------------------------BlockB--------------Public(unknown)-----N/A-------------------N/A
003------- 91561-xxx-xxxxPP1234----------------BlockA--------------N/A---------------------Public----------------N/A

Destination Codes--------------Normal Route----------Absorbed length
9A-------------------------------------001-------------------1
6789----------------------------------001-------------------All

Phone is being forwarded to 8888.... there is timer on internal call phone, but nothing happens and the call does not go through.

Yes I have redirect set to yes. I believe I have the pauses set up correctly in the routing table as noted below.

Route--------External Number-----------Use Pool-------------DN Type------------Service Type-----------Service ID
003------- 91561-xxx-xxxxPP1234----------------BlockA--------------N/A---------------------Public----------------N/A

When I try to do a forward under normal conditions I have to put in the long distance code. With the settings above, nothing really happens. A timer starts on the right like with any call and then it just disconnects. Yes I have tried different numbers. I also tried a local exchange without the pause and code. It still did not work. if I do a regular forward from a phone to a local exchage it does work.

Have you looked at the BCM Monitor to see if everything is being sent properly? Good place to start looking.

Are you trying to forward using routing or using Feature 4 at the telephone?
If you're trying to use routing I don't see a des code configured to use route 3.
Assuming you're using des code 6789 you need to configure it to use route 3.
