Bcm 450 Element Manager locked up!!!

I have bcm 450 I just installed every thing went fine but while doing some target line assignment I entered a receive number that I guess was on another target line , Element Manager locked up with an error message box invalid DN and the retrieving date box stuck on the screen. I have tried to disconnect but with no luck so I end task to get out of the program and when I log back in it is still stuck on the same screen. Element Manager is still stuck after 6 hours. I'm I hosed or do I need to hard boot the switch since I can not shut down or reboot from Element Manager? Please advise. Thanks in advance.
 
Did you try to access it from another PC? If you still have the same screen on another PC, you may want to try accessing over CLI and reboot it from there. Last option is as you said doing a hard boot.
 
Probably using a Toshiba laptop. Mine does that all the time and the only good way to get it back is to reboot it.

Sometimes you can do the Ctrl>Alt>Delete thing and when the screen comes up, hit the the cancel button. It works sometimes but not always.

Reboot always clears it.
 
That's a very common problem on the 450. I can usually just start a second instance of EM and it works fine.
 
It was locked up in the customers citex network so we removed the old Element Manger and loaded the Avaya EM and a little faster but when I tried to log in the Call Pilot it lockup too. Just my luck. Thanks guys for your suggestions.
