I am adding another peripheral bay to my mx controller. I have one CIM port left and I ordered the bay controller card and hooked it up. It didn't work so I started checking all my connections and came to realize that the Bay Controller Card I got doesn't have a CIM connection on it like the card in my other peripheral bay. I thought I ordered the right card. Is there some different version that has the CIM connection?

Thanks

Sorry to inform you but the CIM module on the BCCIII is a daughter board that needs to be ordered separately.

You also need to watch your config with respect to the CIM ports on the 200.

If for e.g. you are saying that the spare CIM port you have is the 4th one in a quad CIM, you need to be aware that it might not be usable depending on what is configured on the other 3 ports.

If the spare port is the second one on the main controller, you do not need to worry.

Thanks for the info,

I will look into getting that baby board ordered with the BCCIII.

And yes the spare port on my 4 port cim module is the second port.
