Every time I cold boot up one of a workstations it goes blue screen and scans. Its always finds bad clusters. Then it boots up like normal. I've reinstalled NT several times. (It has SP6a installed.)

1. Is there a utility in NT that will repair bad clusters.
2. Is this a sign the disk is going?

Yes the disk is going bad and I suggest you RACE to the Office wharehouse and get a copy of "Norton Ghost" $79.00 Street price and a new hard drive ASAP. Do not waste another sceond.

I just had the same issue.
If you put it off then Norton Ghost will not work.
With Norton Ghost and a drive that was Just on the virge of Crashing. It took just 45 minutes or so and the NT workstation WAS back on line and every thing worked perfect.

Otherwise you have to get a new hard drive anyway and hope you have a recent ERD and...
What a mess
