B199 Firmware update latest.
Any idea?
Thanks!!!!!![ponder]

What firmware? How was it upgraded? What type and version of IP Office? What happens if you try to access the phone's web menus? What exactly were you doing when this appeared? (installing for the first time/upgrading/just using)

Best bet might just be a hard reset. See

B199 fw(1.0.1.0.9) upgraded by web access.
When I dial out to any extension , the phone show as above screenshot.
Its my first time installing B199.

I will try hard reset if I have no idea.[thumbsup]

Thanks sizbut!

I'll have to plug mine in tomorrow, but would be good to know what you have set in the primary account settings.

The error message is a bit misleading. I think its the phone receiving a 503 response from the server (presumably the IP Office).

If you call the B199 extension from another extension, what happens?

Do you have other SIP extensions on this systems?

Thanks Sizbut ,

May be the device has crashed. It works by DHCP and didn't work by static IP.
After factory reset , everything done.[pipe]

I have the same issue with B199 conference phone cannot dial in and out, guys how it can be solved?
im registering with IP Office 11.0.4.0

I also have this issue. Tried everything from static assigning IP, DHCP, TCP, UDP, etc. They have a B179 that is working, so I don't know what this B199 is doing differently.

The phone shows as registered but is unable to make outgoing and incoming calls. I looked in system monitor and it looks like it's getting a 503 service unavailable.

So I was able to fix this,

The B199 requires a 3rd party license, which is weird since it states in the manual that it requires an "avaya endpoint IP license."

So confused...

The customer is on 11.0.0.2 (or was it 11.0.2).

The manual also says "R10.1.0.6 and R11.0.4.2".

The IP Office developers did not support it until the after the stated service packs. Prior to that the system see the B199 as just another generic SIP device and so need a third-party license for it. As it is now, when you upgrade it will suddenly become recognised as an Avaya device and want to use an Avaya license instead (hopefully it will find one free).

Lesson: Trust IP Office specific documentation. There's a lot of Avaya docs written by folks who would not recognise an IP Office system.

...and the manual you claim to have followed does say "To install the phone on an IP Office system, follow the ‘Generic Installation Process’ outlined in the IP Office SIP Telephone Installation Notes manual" which is the one that states the IP Office releases needed. 1/10.
